# Is this the Starry Expanse Project?

[The new ***Riven***](https://cyan.com/games/riven/), available now [**on Steam**](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1712350/Riven/) and **[GOG](https://www.gog.com/en/game/riven)**, is a from-the-ground-up remake from Cyan, not the Starry Expanse Project.

However, the Starry Expanse team *did*assist in kicking off this project. See our blog post here for more details on that: [**An Open Letter To The Fans of Riven**](https://cyan.com/2022/10/31/olttfor/)
