  • Myst selected by MoMA

    Myst at MoMA

We’re very pleased to announce that Myst is part of an initial 14 video games selected by The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) for a new category of artwork in their collection. The initial group will be installed in the Museum’s Philip Johnson Galleries in March 2013. Here’s a link to MoMA’s announcement.

Myst seems to be on a Museum roll. In April Myst was included in an exhibit at the Smithsonian American Art Museum.

And if you can’t make it to MoMA in March, you can enjoy Myst, realMyst, Riven, and Cyan’s other Apps wherever you are – on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch! Download now!

  • Myst part of The Art of Video Games at the Smithsonian

Myst is showing (and playing) at the Smithsonian American Art Museum as part of their The Art of Video Games exhibit. The exhibit kicked off in the middle of March and runs through the summer. Myst is one of five games that actually allow visitors to play for a short time – starting in the library on Myst Island. (See if you can make it to D’ni.)

If you’re in the Washington DC area don’t miss it – it’s free! And if you can’t make it to DC you still have a chance to see it when the exhibit goes on tour to select cities around the U.S.

And of course you can get the entire classic Myst experience on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and explore wherever you are! Buy it now!
