The VR/PC Proof-of-Concept build of Firmament was our initial working demonstration model of Firmament, unveiled in 2019.

It was a rough build of the game, playable in VR or on flatscreen PC, with all the dings and dents a game early in development has. It’s not polished and perhaps not perfect, but it was a sneak peek into Cyan’s newest world.

This early build was only available to the press, select streamers, and to backers who pledged at the $250 or higher tiers during the Kickstarter. It was delivered to eligible players in 2019.

On Monday, October 17th, 2022, access to the Proof-of-Concept build was temporarily removed from those who had it. This removal allowed Cyan to dot the i’s and cross the t’s necessary to get the game ready for launch.

All those who had access to the PoC build before can once again access that build, using their same Steam account used to redeem the PoC build code before.
