Are VAT (or other fees) included in international shipping costs?
< 1 min read
Most shipping methods internationally are considered to be shipped “DDU,” or “Delivery Duty Unpaid,” which means the shipper does not pay customs or duties and you may be charged this to receive your order.
In our experience, Royal Mail in the UK sometimes adds customs fees and a handling fee on top of the VAT charge.
The end receiver of the shipment must pay these fees when they get their package, so please be aware of your country’s tax policy.
Also, shipments cannot be marked as gifts.
Fangamer/Cyan is not responsible for any additional taxes, fees, logistics, or additional charges required by your delivery service or local government in order to deliver your package.
