Everyone at Cyan is super thrilled at the response for Myst Mobile so far and we really appreciate everyone’s support! We are so happy that folks are especially enjoying the graphical fidelity Myst Mobile has to offer.
Some upcoming stuff: We are hoping to release a patch soon that offers a “battery saver” option for folks starting a new game, that will automatically lower the graphics settings and frame rate limit.
In addition, we’ll make our single-touch movement style an even more obvious choice when folks start their first new game, in case folks aren’t fans of the virtual gamepad display (when not using a physical gamepad or magic folio).
For anyone who has difficulty reading small text on their screens, we will be bringing in the library book text a bit closer to the screen so it is easier to read.
We hope to be releasing a dev blog post at some point as well, going into more detail about the modifications we made to Unreal and our Myst project in order to support the game at a very high fidelity on iOS.
