The video game industry continues to move toward an almost exclusively digital game delivery format. For this reason, Firmament’s “big box” includes a bunch of physical treats but it will not include a physical game on DVD or CD.

We understand how important a DRM-free version of the game is to folks who were counting on the disc being in their “big box”. For this reason, we partnered with GOG to include a DRM-free code of Firmament in every physical box.

GOG have been outstanding supporters of our company and games for over a decade now, with a great record of maintaining and promoting both legacy and non-legacy games across the industry, so we are really excited that they can be a part of our own physical edition legacy as well.

After your initial download of Firmament from GOG, you are not required to have an internet connection to play the game.

The GOG version of Firmament will be kept up-to-date so that if you choose, you can log in to the GOG account that you own the game in, and download the latest fixes or patches to it at any time after redeeming your game code.
